  • It takes 1 cup of old-fashioned oatmeal to make 1 cup of oatmeal (such as Quaker Oats Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats).
  • 1 quart of milk1 quart of water
  • This is 1/8 teaspoon of kosher salt.

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • The toppings I want (such as sliced almonds, peanut butter, or fresh fruit)

  2. Simmer uncovered for 3 to 5 minutes until it thickens, stirring every now and then. Wait until it’s cooled down a bit before trying to reheat it.
  3. In two bowls, divide the food equally and put it in the middle. Mix 1/2 teaspoon of honey into each serving. Add any extra toppings you want and serve.
