Giannis Antetokounmpo got his kids green suits for his movie premiere. I’ve been told that as a parent, there are some things you can get away with more easily when your kids are younger than when they are older. One of these things is dressing more than one child in the same outfit, let alone you as a parent.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, a forward for the Milwaukee Bucks, has two sons younger than 3 years old. This puts him right in the matching-outfits window. He used the chance to get himself, his two-year-old son Liam, and his 10-month-old son Maverick matching olive green double-breasted suits and brand-new white Air Force 1s to wear to the premiere of the new Disney+ biopic Rise, which is based on Antetokounmpo’s life and his family’s journey from Nigeria to Greece to the NBA. Antetokounmpo posted a picture of the tiny suits on Instagram and said, with a smile, “Looks the same, huh?”

(Giannis’s girlfriend, Mariah Riddlesprigger, did not wear a green suit to the premiere, but the bar has been set for future family holiday cards.)

The Rise premiere was, of course, a family affair. Mariah, Giannis, Liam, and Mav, along with their custom suits from Brown & Brown Clothiers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, were there, as were Thanasis, Kostas, and Alex, three of Giannis’s five brothers, and their mom, Vera Antetokounmpo.

In his GQ cover story from last fall, Antetokounmpo talked about being a father. He was impressed by how strong Mariah and Vera were as moms. He said, “It’s crazy to see what the body has to go through to bring this beautiful, sweet baby into the world.” “I’m thinking, ‘Mom, you did this for all five of us?'” Wearing matching suits makes you feel proud, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
